The award winning Brazelton Hotel was built in 1997 and refurbished in 2005. The only locally owned and operated hotel in Mt. Pleasant. Enjoy the living room area with the wonderful fireplace! Three stories with an elevator. Paved parking for cars, trucks and trailers. Indoor pool and hot tub that can be viewed from the breakfast area allowing parents to watch their older children without being in the noise and water. (Parents must be in the pool area with young children) The hotel is set back off the road to diminish the road noise. A restaurant and lounge are located just across the parking lot. Each room has a coffee maker, iron, ironing board and free wireless Internet.The Brazelton Hotel has a meeting room for up to 100 for your business and reception needs. The free deluxe hot and cold continental breakfast has over 30 items. Fresh hot cookies are baked every evening for your pleasure. There are two computers with free wireless in the lobby for your use, the entire hotel has free wireless access.The sales staff will assist you with tours of the area and information about Mt. Pleasant and the surrounding area.The hotel is 20 miles from the riverboat casino during the winter and 30 miles during the summer. The Brazelton (formerly the Ramada Limited) is located on Interstate 27/218 known as the Avenue of the Saints connecting St. Paul, Minnesota with St. Louis, Mo. Hwy 34 running east and west from Des Moines, Iowa to Illinois also goes through Mt. Pleasant. 100 miles north of Hannibal, MO.
