From Denver and destinations south take I-25 north to Exit 243. From Denvers Airport: Departing Denver International Airport get on Pena Blvd. Take the E-470 N exit- Exit 6B and follow for 17.4 miles ($3.50 toll cost). Merge onto I-25 N - Exit 47 toward Fort Collins -15.5 miles. Take the CO-66 exit; Exit 243- toward Lyons. Turn left (west) onto CO-66and follow through Longmont to Lyons -16.4 miles. CO-66 W becomes HWY 36 at the intersection east of Lyons. On the west side of Lyons Hwy 36 will bear to the right and wind through the canyon to Estes Park- 19.8 miles. Your first glimpse of Estes Park will be breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding the town as you descend into the Estes Valley. There is a pull off by the Welcome to Estes Park sign for photos. Follow the causeway across Lake Estes. (Lake Shore Lodge is the large lodge and stone structure on the far side of the lake.) Go through the first light and at the second light take the right turn lane on to Big Thompson Ave/Hwy 34. Take Hwy 34 east about two miles. Look for the Lake Shore Lodge sign on the right hand side of the road. This is also the turn off for the Lake Estes Marina. Stay to your right for hotel parking. From Cheyenne, Wyoming and destinations north take I-25 S/ south toward Denver to the US-34 W exit; Exit 257B - 52.3 miles. Take Hwy 34 west through Loveland and follow up the canyon along the Big Thompson River to Estes Park - 33.6 miles. Once you enter Estes Park, watch for the large Lake Estes Dam on your left and Sombrero Stables on your right. The turn-off for Lake Shore Lodge will be on the left side of the road. This is also the turn off for the Lake Estes Marina. Stay to your right for hotel parking.

The restaurants ambiance is offset with log beams, a vaulted ceiling, baroque chandeliers, and two and a half story windows on the south wall overlooking Lake Estes and the mountains and Continental Divide in Rocky Mountain National Park. The dining room is comfortable for families as well as intimate for a romantic candlelight dinner. There is an extended deck on the outside of the restaurant for dining outdoors in the summer months. The Silverado has a full lounge and bar area with south facing views and a gas fireplace.


Lake Shore Lodge offers five meeting rooms and can accommodate meeting groups of up to 300. On property lodging will accommodate groups of up to 100. Lake Estes Inn & Suites which is adjacent to the Lodge is often times for used for additional rooms. Lake Shore Lodge is adjacent to the Lake Estes Marina where boats, fishing equipment and mountain bikes are available to rent. The Lake Estes Trail is right outside the lodges south-facing doors. The 3.7-mile trail winds around Lake Estes and is used for walking, biking, rollerblading and elk watching! The Trail also goes right into downtown Estes Park and becomes the Riverwalk following the Big Thompson River passing by numerous restaurants and shops. Golfers may also take the Trail to Estes Parks 9-hole golf course. Only two blocks from the Lodge is Ride a Cart where the families will enjoy go-cart racing, miniature golf, bumper cars, bumper boats, batting cages, an arcade area, and a miniature train ride, Horseback riding is just across the street at the Sombrero Stables on Highway 34.
