National Park Service Launches New Online Exhibits

Mar 25, 2016
Our colleagues in the NPS announced that several new online trail exhibits were now a part of their website. Though the online exhibits are featured in the Santa Fe National Historic Trail section of their website, many of the exhibits also feature information on the Oregon and California National Historic Trails.

Some of the Missouri sites developed include McCoy Park in Independence as well as the Westport Neighborhood, Minor Park, and the New Santa Fe Cemetery Sites in Kansas City. Also included are sites in Kansas, such as Strang Park and Sapling Grove in Overland Park. Gardner Junction, which is the site just west of Gardner, Kansas where the Santa Fe Trail splits away from the Oregon/California Trail, is featured as well.

You can view the exhibits by using the state-by-state links found in the left column of the NPS website.
