This section defines the duties, responsibilities and functional relationships of the association leadership. It provides names of the OCTA Board of Directors, officers, and staff.
Governance, Policies & Strategic Plans
Governance of OCTA is the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
Member Committees—General
This section defines the duties, responsibilities and functional relationships of the association committees. It provides names of the committee chairs.
Member Committees—Preservation Support
These committees support the many aspects of preservation. They report to the National Trails Preservation Officer, an employee of OCTA; or directly to the association president.
Member Committees—Publications & Education
The efforts of this cluster of committees advance the goals of OCTA through words, written and collected, and words used for education and research. The chairs report to the Secretary or the Treasurer.
Member Committees—OCTA Outreach
These committees deal with the public through media.
Member Committees—Association Activities Support
These committees assist with the internal activities undertaken by OCTA, such as Conventions, Membership, Chapter development, and selection of nominees for the Board of Directors.
Member Committees—Financial Activities Support
These committees report to the Treasurer, or directly to the president. Their titles are self-explanatory.
Activity Forms
Included are a variety of forms that can help members and leadership do their work. There are volunteer and visitor acknowledgement of risk forms, award nomination forms and education award applications, donation and use agreement forms, conflict of interest, budget development and reimbursement forms, and more.
Convention Information
Conventions are an important activity in the yearly cycle of OCTA events.
