Eliam & Susannah Morris

Emigrant Profile


Eliam and Susannah Good Morris came in a wagon train in 1851 and settled in the Willamette Valley. They traveled with five children. One of their children was Sarah Priscilla Morris, who married Daniel Sylvester Roy, my great grandfather. Descendants still live in Yamhill Co., Oregon.

Louis Roy and his wife, Charlotte Silvers Roy, also came to Oregon in 1851. They settled in Greenville, Washington Co. They brought six children, one of whom was my great grandfather, Daniel Sylvester Roy, who married Sarah Priscilla Morris. Descendants of the family still live in Washington County, Oregon.
