The Utah Crossroads Chapter holds two general meetings annually at the Salt Lake County Commission Chambers, and an annual BBQ at the Fort Douglas Military Museum.


    The Utah Crossroads Chapter works to preserve the Hastings, Lienhard, Donner Reid, Hensley, Bartleson/Bidwell trail groups. This system includes the Mormon Pioneer Trail, California Trails and branches which include: Southern Route, Salt Desert Route, Overland Route, Hensley or Salt Lake Cutoff. Pony Express, Old Spanish Trail, Lincoln Highway.

    We publish a field guide for each Field trip.  These can be purchased by others as most are designed for self guidance over the trails. We are collecting copies of journal or dairy accounts for those who came through Utah and have those preserved at the Utah Historical Society Library. These will be used to mark trails as quotes will come from the journals and to support further research on each trail and .
