2006 Meeker Expedition
OCTA is a co-sponsor of the 100th anniversary observance of emigrant pioneer Ezra Meeker's cross-country trip to commemorate the trail to Oregon that he first traveled in 1852.

OCTA Presents 2005 Achievement Awards
Jack and Pat Fletcher of Sequim, WA were named winners of the OCTA Meritorious Achievement Award, the organization's highest honor, at the 23rd Annual OCTA Convention held in August in Salt Lake City, UT. The Fletchers were joined by other OCTA members were recognized with Distinguished Volunteer, Young OCTA, Friend of the Trail, Distinguished Service and the Merrill Mattes Award. Learn more ...

New Officers and Board Members Elected
Vern Gorzitze of Salt Lake City, UT has been elected to a two-year term as President of the Oregon-California Trails Association. Vern was joined by Glenn Harrison (VP), Bernie Rhoades (Sec.) and Dave Welch (Natl. Preservation). OCTA members also elected four people to three-year terms on the Board of Directors. Learn more ...
